Druid Leveling Guide

The first step in my personal Druid Leveling Guide is creating your Druid.  Before doing this, however, you need to make a choice as to which faction you would prefer to play in World of Warcraft.  If you already have existing characters, this probably isn’t a tough choice for you, although Druids do make an excellent first character on the faction you don’t currently play.

The question that you need to answer at this point is “Should I make a Horde Druid or Alliance Druid?” and the answer to that really is as complex as you choose to make it.  For some people this choice will be dictated by what their friends currently play, for others it will be a question of looks.  Druids are my favorite class in World of Warcraft, so for me, there was only one choice:  I rolled both.

Yes, you are reading that right, I have both a Horde Druid and an Alliance Druid, and if Blizzard ever makes another playable race that can choose to be a Druid, I’ll make one of those too.  If I didn’t love the class enough to level two of them, then I certainly wouldn’t be writing this Druid leveling guide.  We’ll get into what each race offers in the next few posts, but for now, feel free to create one of each and run around the starting areas, see if either of the choices grabs you right away!
